Cocoa's little lambs
Finally getting around to posting a picture of both of Cocoa's little lambs. The brown one is the girl. It is raining today so I expanded the lambing pen to most of one side of the lamb shed, or 8 x 12 feet. Cocoa can share the feeder with Calico but the new lambs are contained so they stay dry and Cocoa can continue bonding and recovering from birthing. Here at 2U Sheep Station we have the luxury of being able to give lots of attention to both our girls, and they have rewarded us this year by producing five lambs, four females and one male. Watch for the ewe lambs to show up in the Sale Barn later this year. All four are registered purebred Katahdin.
